Hi Mary-Jo – my father told me about Octave’s passing, and I just wanted to write and say how very sorry I was to hear that. I have great memories of him, and of you and your family, from Cambridge but most especially from Otter Rock, which is an unforgettable place. I’m very grateful that we Turners had the chance to visit there, and I still have vivid memories of it – I remember Octave as a big character and great fun from those times, playing volleyball in the garden, and down on the beach. I don’t think I’ve ever seen my Dad enjoy himself more than the time he spent there with you all. We’re thinking of you, and I wanted to send love and very best wishes to you and your family.
