Octave and Mary Jo Levenspiel

Tatijana

Although we are aware that life is not endless, it is always hard to accept the fact that someone who we liked and admired so much has passed away. We were truly sorry to hear the sad news about your Dad and our dear friend Tavy.

I have known Tavy since 1984. Sasha and I lived in Levenspiel’s house at Crest Place while Mary Jo and Tavy went on sabbatical around the globe. I will always remember his great sense of humor, jokes and funny comments, quizzes he was constantly giving and most of all his kindness and understanding and warm heart for people around him. Tavy will always be in our memories. When I close my eyes I can see him dancing with Mary Jo, in our little apartment at OSU campus in 1987, to Russian music composed by Theodore Bikal. Good old days!

You are in our thoughts.
